This policy explains how Tickbox uses cookies. In short: we use two strictly necessary cookies and nothing else.
The cookies we use
When you sign in, we set two cookies, both of which last up to 30 days or until you sign out:
- Sign-in cookie: holds a random session token that keeps you signed in as you move around the app. It contains no personal details and is protected so it cannot be read by scripts in your browser.
- Sign-in state flag: a small value that simply records that you are signed in, so the app can show you the right page immediately without a flicker. It holds no personal data.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit our pages. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track or identify you across sites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it needs no consent banner under UK law (PECR).
What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or any analytics that set cookies or build a profile of you. Because our sign-in cookies are strictly necessary and our analytics are cookieless, no cookie consent banner is required.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you clear our cookies you will simply be signed out and asked to sign in again.
Changes
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Questions: hello@usetickbox.com.
